Almonds are an excellent remedy for dry cough. Soak 7-8 almonds overnight in water. The next morning peel off the brown skin and then grind them into a powder. Add twenty grams each of butter and sugar to form a paste. Consume this paste twice daily; once in the morning and once in the evening.

Honey and Ginger for cough

Mix 2 teaspoons of honey with equal quantity of ginger juice. The concoction helps to expectorate mucus, providing relief for the common cold, coughs and sore throat.
